In Tandem was formed in 2014 by Director Bella Loudon and performer Mathew Wernham after a strong creative relationship was formed during our training at Drama Centre London. Within our broad and rigorous training we found a particular interest in exploring how the Laban effort system and Yat Malmgren’s character analysis could be used to create work that is both truthful and highly expressive theatrically. Our core training in Stanislavski combined with three years of additional emphasis on clowning, ballet and movement has provided a strong foundation from which we continue to build and refine our process as theatre makers.
